St. Peter’s Brewery on Kindle Match

St Peters Brewery

I just enrolled St. Peter’s Brewery in Amazon’s Kindle Match program. If you purchased the book in paperback from Amazon.com, you’ll be able to download the book for free on your Kindle in a couple days.

You can visit Amazon.com to find out more and find any other books you might have that are eligible.

Or if you haven’t ordered your copy of the book – definitely do so!

Hit parade

Amazon always seems to have some super great deals going on with their MP3 Albums.

This month (or what remains of it) is no different.

I checked in this morning and noticed a number of awesome Greatest Hits albums available for only $5!

Check out some of the selection:

Libraries of tomorrow

A random thought/idea came to me today.

Last year Amazon began allowing loaning books between Kindle users. In addition they just announced (this week I believe) that libraries will now be able to purchase Kindle versions, for patrons to borrow and read on any Kindle enabled device.

(FREE software is available to read Kindle books on iPhone, iPad, Windows PC, Mac, Blackberry, Android and Windows Phone devices.)

You can loan a book to anyone with an e-mail address via the Kindle Manager (as long as the publisher has enabled lending).

So as I was thinking about how this might be an awesome avenue for sharing ideas and material with not just my friends next door, but my friends across the pond, I started thinking…

Amazon.com top sellers

Amazon.com

I always have fun looking at stats for my various websites.

The other day, after receiving another gift card from Amazon Associates (I get a small percentage from every item ordered through one of my websites), I thought I’d check into what people are buying via my websites/Amazon store.

Most of the items have only been purchased once but a few have risen to the top as “best sellers.”

And in case you’re wondering — Amazon is actually not my #1 way of bringing in a little extra cash from my blogs. Right now it’s affiliate ads for Leo Babauta’s and Joshua Becker’s e-books.

I’ve been averaging $15 or so each month recommending their two books (which I do highly recommend), where as Amazon typically only brings in a couple extra dollars a month.

Do you use Amazon Associate ads/links on your blog?

What are your top sellers?

Ever been surprised by something someone purchased through your links? (Darren Rowse actually had a fun post about this last week — he beat me to publication — doh!)

Amazon Wireless is live

Shameless advertisement post…

I received an e-mail earlier this week announcing that AmazonWireless is now “live.”

I’ve already used the service during it’s earlier beta stage and loved it!

I purchased a brand new Blackberry Curve 8900 for $50, when AT&T wanted $199. (It’s now $.01 with a two-year AT&T contract.)

AmazonWireless is a new website by Amazon.com that offers cell phones and wireless plans, easy shopping without rebate hassles, and FREE two-day shipping.

AmazonWireless makes it easy for customers to upgrade their phone if they already have a plan, or if they want to establish new cell phone service, has tried to make it simple to find the right phone, service plan, and options.

Customers can shop for phones by carrier, phone feature, price, color, and brand. The site’s shopping cart will guide them through each stage of the purchase process, where they’ll find familiar Amazon features like bestseller lists, detailed product descriptions, and customer reviews.

A few things I loved about the site..

  • First and foremost – the great pricing.
  • Secondly, the free shipping.
  • And third, you can shop for phones on AT&T, Verizon or T-Mobile all on one easy to use site.

Now if only they had an easy/cheap way to buy unlocked Android phones, we’d really be in business….

Just as a reminder, the ads and links to products on my website are most often affiliate links, meaning if you click on the links and make a purchase, you’re helping support my blogging habit. I’m aware that ads can be annoying and misleading, so promise to work hard and only advertise and/or link to products and businesses I personally support.

The book is spreading

St. Peter’s Brewery is now available in print through multiple vendors online. You may also be able to purchase the book in your favorite brick and mortar book seller. Simply request St. Peter’s Brewery, (ISBN-13: 9781442174788 ISBN: 1442174781).

I’ve contacted our local Barnes and Noble and they said the book was not available to order in store yet, but something in their computer showed it would be available Dec 28th. We’ll cross our fingers and see.
