What blogs do you read?

we love blog

I don’t keep a blogroll on the front page of my blog anymore. Instead, I have a page of links that include some family, friends, ministries etc. that I support or find interesting (more or less an archive of my old blogroll).

Blogroll’s always seem to be a pain to keep up with. Perhaps because mine are always changing.

However Charles Lee asked for some blog suggestions this week and I offered up my list. These are the blogs I check first in my reader and always make sure I haven’t missed anything before I hit the escape button (aka Mark All As Read). Continue reading What blogs do you read?

Lessons from the storm

I spent an hour or so last night trying to grab that perfect picture of the approaching storm.

It was quite a site to see the clouds rolling in and the electrical storm happening only a few miles away.

While I didn’t get that “perfect shot” I did get a number of photos I liked a lot.

And I learned a few things along the way as well…

Some great Twitter peeps

You know, I’m still amazed that folks find my blog, read it and subscribe to it.

I’m also amazed that folks find what I share on Twitter worth while. But for some reason, I just crossed the 600 mark with my Twitter followers and I just want to say thanks!

For whatever reason you’ve decided I’m worth some of your time. Thanks.

I know I don’t follow everyone (I’m currently following about 400 folks) but I appreciate the time you’ve taken to follow me and share life with me. So HUGE PROPS to all of you!

UPDATE: @walter tells me that Twitter Mosaic only shows 400 or so people, so I’ve changed out the mosaic to my Twitter Friends (those I follow and they follow me back) — since I’m only following 400 or so folks, hopefully no one will get left out.

Just look at all these beautiful faces!

Wetoku – video interviews on the cheap

My first two videos with wetoku.com

Just found out about wetoku.com, via @charlestlee.

Its a simple video chat service (similar to TokBox), but geared specifically towards bloggers wanting to do video interviews and RECORD THEM!

I signed up for an invite today and got a response almost instantly.

I tried it out here at the office to see how easy and practical it might be to use – and it turns out its both of those.

Apprising Ministries plugs for something beautiful

link love…

Apprising Ministries wrote a lengthy explanation this week on how and why we had Adele Sakler and Pete Rollins on our podcast last week.

They offered up a 1,100 word post to explain the background behind last week’s podcast and were generous enough to offer four links back to our website.

I’m not even sure Thomas could talk that long about our podcast! 🙂
