Taking a break

Yup, I’m taking a break. A sabbatical, leave of absence, vacation, or whatever you want to call it — a break from Web 2.0.

As of writing this, I’m not sure how long it’ll be. I’m thinking at least two weeks, but maybe the whole month of November. We’ll just wait and see.

But sometimes when it comes to communicating, certain things get under my skin. I’m not sure why, they just do. So I thought I’d offer a little insight into my world with a list of my Top 12 communication pet-peeves.

(I know some of these might feel like I’m picking on you. I’m not. Trust me, there are more than one person that does each of these — and several folks do multiples of these. The plea was simple — can we get 450 people to donate $10 by Nov 1 to help them keep their house.

I was looking over the totals that have come in to help our friends beat foreclosure this week.

It’s encouraging to see.

Folks from 2 different countries, 5 different states, people that have never met my friends, are all pitching in to help in a time of need.
