Who had pepparoni pizza and who had cheese?
Sometimes you just need a reminder of what matters in life.
Love this video version of the song “Wear Sunscreen” — a 10 year tribute to the song by Ki’une on PickupDance.
Like the song suggests (and some friends have recently commented) I’m still waiting to find out what I’ll do with my life. Here’s to hoping I’ll be one of those “most interesting 40 year olds” in 9 years or so.
Shameless advertisement post…
I received an e-mail earlier this week announcing that AmazonWireless is now “live.”
I’ve already used the service during it’s earlier beta stage and loved it!
I purchased a brand new Blackberry Curve 8900 for $50, when AT&T wanted $199. (It’s now $.01 with a two-year AT&T contract.)
AmazonWireless is a new website by Amazon.com that offers cell phones and wireless plans, easy shopping without rebate hassles, and FREE two-day shipping.
AmazonWireless makes it easy for customers to upgrade their phone if they already have a plan, or if they want to establish new cell phone service, has tried to make it simple to find the right phone, service plan, and options.
Customers can shop for phones by carrier, phone feature, price, color, and brand. The site’s shopping cart will guide them through each stage of the purchase process, where they’ll find familiar Amazon features like bestseller lists, detailed product descriptions, and customer reviews.
A few things I loved about the site..
Now if only they had an easy/cheap way to buy unlocked Android phones, we’d really be in business….
Just as a reminder, the ads and links to products on my website are most often affiliate links, meaning if you click on the links and make a purchase, you’re helping support my blogging habit. I’m aware that ads can be annoying and misleading, so promise to work hard and only advertise and/or link to products and businesses I personally support.
As we’ve moved to the northwest corner of Kaufman County, the search has begun for a new community of faith to take part in.
Google has been helpful as we’ve begun our search, but I thought I’d make a listing of churches in Kaufman County and areas surrounding Forney (Sunnyvale, Heath, Rockwall, Talty, etc) similar to what I had in Ellis County.
If by chance I’ve left off any churches, feel free to drop me a note and I’ll be sure to add it ASAP.

Skye Jethani writes another great post about his (and my) generation, which he is calling The Jumbo Jet Generation…
“What they fail to realize is that my generation is not rejecting orthodoxy. We are rejecting the false dichotomy that the American church has perpetuated for the last century. We refuse to believe that the gospel is either social or spiritual, eternal or temporal. Earlier generations of evangelicals were more interested in saving souls than seeking justice because a cup of cold water would be little comfort in the flames of hell. But my generation cannot shake the global perspective imprinted on our minds from our childhoods. The gospel, we believe, must have relevance for this world and not simply the next.“

It’s been a busy few months around Casa de Blundell!
We’re both heading back to work after an extended weekend (3 days for Jonathan – 5 days for Laurie!) so I thought it might be time for another brief.
