The month of November

Here are some of the highlights you likely missed hearing about during the month of November thanks to my online siesta.

1. Trip to Costco, encounter leadership meeting and Open Lines on Powertalk
2. Had great chats with @headphonaught and @truckerfrank via Skype and phone
3. Redecorated my cubicle with a new TOMS poster
4. Interviewed Greg Russinger for the something beautiful podcast. Got the ISBN number for my new book – St Peter’s Brewery.
5. Screening of “Playground” at the Studio Movie Grill
6. Lunch with my mom and Laurie. Toured a couple new homes in Rockwall. Purchased a new domain :: stpetersbrewery.info
7. Common Sense Parenting training at the Texas Baptist Home — and was “thrown” off a Vespa.
8. Doodle a lot of notes about Joe (Jonah)
9. Finished our sustainability discussion lunch group at work
10. Decided that Monsters are People Too and realized I wear a lot of green and brown.
11. Edited the DVD for living room encounters
12. Posted a full version of the initial St. Peter’s Brewery cover on Flickr.
13. Took the day off for a doctor’s appointment and spending the day with Laurie
14. More Foster Care training – including getting re-certified for CPR and First Aid
15. Started working on the St. Peter’s Brewery Facebook Page
16. Started the 4th or 5th read-through of St. Peter’s Brewery… still finding things I want to change
17. Dinner with my family at Chipotle and then picked up and installed new dryer to match our new washer
18. Thanksgiving lunch at work — didn’t go — kept working at home
19. Published part 2 of Drew Tatusko’s story on the podcast
20. Date night with Red Robin Burgers and The Blindside
21. Great time with our community group, talking about compassion, sharing and the economy of enough
22. Submitted my interior file (aka everything between the front and back cover) to the printer today and disk golf
23. Finished formatting the files for the Amazon Kindle release.
24. Returned to Twitter… carefully
25. What-A-Study and working from home
26. Thanksgiving
27. Purchased a new crib for the nursery/toddler room and Laurie went to work decorating it. Laurie took a new photo for the cover and the book and I finalized the cover and other files for publication.
28. Post-Thanksgiving breakfast for the under-resourced in Deep Ellum and Laundry Love!
29. Monthly Costco visit – got a free cookbook as well.
