Former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee was on NPR’s “Wait, Wait Don’t Tell Me” this weekend.

Great intro from Peter, WWDTM’s host, “What makes you think a kid from Hope, Arkansas and then the governor of a small obscure state like Arkansas could ever be president?”
“Well you know it’s been tried before,” Huckabee responded. “Some people aren’t sure it turned out so well so we’re going to give it one more try.”

Huckabee was great and very, very personable. Really showed off his personality. He seemed to have a great time and talked about his weight loss as well as his pardoning of Keith Richards of the Rolling Stones.

Huckabee answered questions for listener Sally Powell of Toronto, Canada, and Huckabee quickly pointed out she couldn’t even vote for him.

He answered questions on the Edsel car introduced by Ford 50 years ago and correctly answered 2 out of 3 questions correctly.

Huckabee’s portion of the show comes at 18:20 into the program. You can listen to the entire show here.
