A pterodactyl and Graveler walk in to a cafeteria

Today’s #lunchboxart

(No school today for Little Miss)

I’m not sure they all enjoy these but hearing IDiddy say the second I walk into the house, “Daddy! Thank you for drawing me a Graveler today!” makes it all worth it.

Wisdom of IDiddy

IDiddy complaining about not getting a toy he wanted …

Me: I don’t know what happened. I don’t know what you said or what she said. I just know mommy promised you a toy and you came home with a toy

(Silence)

IDiddy: But mommy is the boss of this house.

Me: True.

An Ekans, a Minion and a Mankey walk into a lunch room

This week’s #lunchboxart – an Ekans, a Miniom and a Mankey.

Serenity Prayer

St Francis by Michelangelo Merisi da Caravaggio

God grant me the serenity

To accept the things I cannot change;

Courage to change the things I can;

And wisdom to know the difference.

Living one day at a time;

Enjoying one moment at a time;

Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace;

Taking, as He did, this sinful world

As it is, not as I would have it;

Trusting that He will make all things right

If I surrender to His Will;

So that I may be reasonably happy in this life

And supremely happy with Him

Forever and ever in the next.

Amen.

Wisdom from IDiddy

“You need to start telling Little Miss and HDiddy when we’re going to do something fun so they won’t be angry. That’s how you keep a kid from being angry – you tell them you’re gonna do something fun.”
– IDiddy, age 5 and 10 months
