day 13 – a song that is a guilty pleasure
Can I just pick two artists that are my guilty pleasure?
They Might be Giants and Weird Al
I don’t listen to them that often — but every now and then I just get a hankering for something different and They Might be Giants and Weird Al can always fill that void.
Especially with songs like:
Birdhouse in Your Soul
Istanbul
Whistling in the Dark
I Palindrome I
and Fingertips 1-20
or
Smells Like Nirvana
Money for Nothing
Amish Paradise
Cavity Search
White and Nerdy
Perhaps I’m not alone? Are there other folks out there who’s spouse is rolling their eyes right now when they hear you singing along to They Might be Giants or Weird Al?
