Monday morning briefs

Time for an update on all things around Casa de Blundell. It’s been a while since I did one of these and there’s lots going on — so this might be a bit longer than a typical brief…

Needless to say, there’s lots of goodness going on and lots of…. well….. waiting.

“Official” notes from #thenines

#thenines logo

The videos aren’t out yet, but you can now get a copy of the “official” notes from #thenines thanks to Leadership Network and Catalyst.

Download the notes.

If I’m not mistaken, these were the notes that ran alongside the videos as they played.

And according to today’s email update:

…watch THE SHOW next Tuesday, September 29 to find out where and when they’ll release all the videos. If you like, they’ll even send you a reminder so you won’t forget to watch.

#B90X Day 1 notes

So I’ve begun my #B90X challenge – reading the Bible in 90 days.

I finished day 2 this morning. It’s actually going quite well — I think. I’m using the TNIV version to read with right now, and a copy of it without chapter and verse references, which makes the reading so much easier — more like a novel. The readings seem to take about 45 minutes so far.

Tomorrow I’ll be sharing another video from #thenines — from author Sky Jethani.

Pure greatness! Be sure and look for it and watch it. It’s worth all nine minutes.

But in the meantime, I thought I’d share my notes from the event — in their raw form.

I thought about cleaning them up some but instead, I just made a quick PDF and decided to share them as-is, with no warranties or guarantees implied.

Notes from The Idea Camp – #icdc

Watchin the Idea Camp today #icdc

I wrote about The Idea Camp a while back. I had hoped to have a local viewing party, but it never quite panned out. Instead I’m watching online physically by myself, but what seems like I’m right there with everyone thanks to technology.

Thanks to free online streaming and Twitter I’ve been watching and listening to a majority of the conversations taking place this weekend in DC. So far its been great.

I’ve been twittering my notes, so for those who haven’t been able to keep up, and for archival purpose, here are some of the notes I’ve taken through the pre-session and the first breakout session…

Hopefully these notes will spark creative ideas and innovation within your own groups.
