If you had to design a transportation solution for Texas, for the next 50 years, what would it look like?
I would go with a subway system like NYC. Basically like the DART now but it would go everywhere and run all the time…not once an hour.

ya, across the entire state. You could ride it from Dallas to Amarillo. Save on gas and helps the air pollution.
I think trains should be a big part of the solution (high speed trains especially) but because of the cost involved I don’t know if subways would be the best bet.
Without a statewide property tax or income tax how would you pay for it?
