Laurie and I dressed the part Saturday afternoon for Dollye’s Luau Baby Shower.
Other than Elane and Guy, who hosted the party I think we may have been the only ones in tropical dress.

UMHB put the spank on Texas Lutheran yesterday.
Very nicely done. This is the third game UMHB seems to have walked all over their opponents.
It may easily be one of the best teams, if not the best teams the school has ever produced.

Presidential candidate Mike Huckabee of Arkansas said Friday his fellow Republicans would be making a devastating mistake in the race for the White House if they ignore minorities, unions and other traditionally Democratic groups.
While the proliferation of debates has cut into the time candidates have to campaign and raise funds, Huckabee said he has reached out to the AARP, the National Education Association and other groups that tend to vote Democratic.
“I want to be the president of the United States, not just the president of the Republican Party,” Mike Huckabee said. “I’m still a conservative and I still believe in lower taxes and less government. I’m pro-life and I’m pro-family, but it doesn’t mean that I’m not going to listen … and it doesn’t mean I’m not going to govern with a view to being a president to everybody.”

I just have to share this great photo of my mate Thomas over in Scotland. He’s got a lot of great photos from a wedding he and his entire family was in this weekend.
His life Olly sang, and his daughters Miriam and Dayna were both in the wedding as well as the flower girl and a brides maid.
Congrats to the new married couple and thanks for the fun pics Thomas.
I don’t think my life would let me get away with wearing kilts at our wedding. 😉 Maybe I should have tried cowboy boots and Stetsons.
My life, Laurie, is taking a photoshop class this semester at Richland College.
She has to have a website for her class so we copied over to Casa de Blundell as well.
