I’d love to share this story at some point as part of our actual podcast but I figure — why wait? It’s already out there for everyone to listen to, download, listen, share it and talk about it. It’s worth it.

…Another thing that’s been pressing on me lately is just how relentless God is. He wants us and He will stop at nothing to reach us. So often our arms are jammed so tightly into our sides that we won’t let Him embrace us, but He doesn’t quit. He doesn’t give up on us. Ever.
That was evident with Heather’s story as she shared it with our body last weekend.
BTW, Steve Knight is hoping to set a new record for the most downloads on our podcast – he’s about 25 downloads away (I think his mom has downloaded the show 73 times or so :-). But, the Young Guns are closing in on the record as well – they’re only 10 downloads behind Steve. So, listen to the shows, pass them along to your friends and family and we’ll see if either episode can break a new record.

So I usually feel decent about my cardio abilities — at least when it comes to walking or riding my bike. Last night I decided I’d try 5 to 10 minutes of jumping rope to get some exercise going.
Let me just say — I am out of shape — and I have no rhythm.
I was super winded when I finished and I was unable to jump rope more than 24 times in a row. There was a lot of restarting and getting to 10-15 before the rope hit my head or one of my feet. Geeze.
But I’ll keep pushing on. Maybe I’ll get up to 26 jumps in a row before all this is over!
Don’t look happy about it but I lost 3.6 lbs this week. Good for a week I spose, so far I’ve been working on watching what I’m eating — need to add some activity in there somewhere.
So, here are the stats.
This week — 3.6 lbs
Net weight loss since starting the challenge with Thomas on Oct. 10, 2008 — 2.8 lbs.
My Zune 30 is frozen on the boot screen, now what do I do?
You will need to reboot your device after noon GMT on Jan 1, 2009.
Please unplug your Zune (no AC or USB cables).
Because your Zune is frozen your device battery will begin draining, this is good.
The battery will eventually be fully depleted and the screen will go black.
After noon GMT on January 1 (that’s 7 a.m. Eastern or 4 a.m. Pacific time) connect your AC power or USB cable such that the battery can begin charging again.
Once the Zune has enough battery to boot it should do so normally and you can go back to enjoying your Zune!
So, I’ll go without my Zune till sometime tomorrow and hope that fixes it all.
But I’m also pleased to say it brought about comments from a Microsoft Techie as well ::
microsoft_cares @jdblundell We tried our best to repair the issue, but due to the nature of the problem even if a patch was released, no one could use it
So, while I started to write a post that bashed Microsoft for the malfunction and lack of an available patch, I’ll hope that their solution is a fix tomorrow and I’ll applaud Microsoft for taking notice and reaching out to their customers. Thanks!
