Earlier this month I wrote about a situation in Red Oak where police officers were being questioned for writing too many tickets.
It appears even the Dallas media is getting involved now. Fox News on Channel 4 ran a story last night and interviewed a couple council members who are pushing the issue.
A Fort Worth investigator has been brought in to investigate the issue and the Red Oak Police Chief and Deputy Chief have been placed on administrative leave.

Why your TV shows are getting streamed
Mark Cuban has an interesting post on online video viewers.
When the Cuban ran broadcast.com back in 2000 he saw the majority of users using the service between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. – while many people were at work.
The next peak came in the evenings after dinner.
So he took a look at current trends with audio and video offerings online.
They seem to be holding true.
So folks at ABC and CBS aren’t worried about streaming their videos online. They know you’re not typically going to watch them during the their original airings anyways. They’re not loosing ad revenue. They’re simply gaining viewers during the day who end up going to their website where they can sell additional online ads.
NBC on the other hand has downloadable shows via iTunes and they’re making $1.99 every time you decide to login during the day.
Very interesting to say the least.

100 Things we love about Ellis County: 99
99. The soldiers of Ellis County – Four years ago this week America began it’s campaign of Shock and Awe against Saddam and his Iraqi regime. Like all previous wars, Ellis County’s men and women stepped up and volunteered to serve their country. So far four soldiers from Ellis County have died in the war against terrorism.
So that’s one of the main reasons why we picked the soldiers of Ellis County as number 99.
100 Things we love about Ellis County: 100
Some of you may have no idea of where Ellis County even is. Others of you may live and breathe Ellis County. Either way, I thought I’d start a new series: 100 Things we love about Ellis County. Feel free to throw your suggestions into the hat. Here’s the start of the list, in no particular order:
100. Joe Jenkins – Mayor of Waxahachie. What’s not to love about a guy who’s catch phrase is, “I love Waxahachie and I believe you will too.”

DJ our wedding
So here’s an online experiment.
Laurie and I plan to have several CD’s burned for our wedding rehearsal and reception. We’ve started a small list of songs we want to include.
But we’re certain to leave some off. What would you include? What would you want played at your wedding reception or rehearsal dinner.
See our current list and let us know what you’d add.
Maybe we’ll hear your song on April 28th.
