David Crowder – SMS (Shine) video
A beautiful video (and song) from The David Crowder Band…
Gary Cole joins the Good Guys
Gary Cole will dawn a new stache and join Bradley Whitford and Collin Hanks on the The Good Guys for this week’s episode.
Cole will play the role of Dan Stark’s (Whitford) former partner.
I’ve really been enjoying this series — if for nothing else than trying to pick out the locations of a lot of the scenes in the movie — which primarily take place near mine and Laurie’s offices — just outside downtown Dallas.
It’s also been fun to see how they re-purpose buildings and locations at Fair Park throughout the series.
Plus Bradley Whitford and Collin Hanks are a lot of fun together.
Here’s to another fun episode with Cole — and hoping the chief doesn’t turn him into a paper-pusher filling out TPS reports all day.

From Austin to Kenya: JC music video
My friends Russell and Elora recently returned from a trip to Nairobi with the students from Reagan High in Austin.
While on the trip one of the American students, Ni-D (Nijalon), connected with one of the Kenyan students, Daniel, while the two “battled it” out on the soccer field.
A brotherhood was formed, a song was written, recorded there in Kenya and then a video was shot in the largest slum area in the world, Kibera, Kenya, during the last few days of the trip. The video was later edited back in the States.
I love the collaboration between not only the two cultures but also everyone involved in the process.
Beautiful!
