It’s getting so close…

I can’t believe this was almost a year ago!

It’s been an amazing, fun, hilarious (and yes sometimes frustrating) 11 month adventure. Less than a month to go before the boys turn 1-year-old.

Awesome!

BTW – I’m trying out some of the built in WordPress Gallery features, I’m hoping that when you click on any of these images you’ll be taken to a new page that shows all the photo’s EXIF (metadata) as well. Click em and see if I got it right…

Adventures in Fatherhood: Our boys on the go…

Some fun for your Monday morning.

Our boys are getting so close to walking (or so we think :-)).

Ian’s definitely dying to get there and then Hayden often doesn’t seem to care one way or the other. He’s pretty content as long as he can get from Point A to Point B one way or the other.

It’ll be interesting to see who starts walking first. I have a sneaking suspicion it will be Hayden, simply because he seems more able to stand and balance on his own — but Ian may sneak up and win this race simply because of his pure desire.

I am a lucky dad.

I have the two greatest boys in the world. I have an amazing wonderful wife, who is also my partner and friend.

And I’ve learned some amazing lessons about how to be a great dad from my own dad.

My mom is an amazing support and full of grace.

Our entire family supports us, helps us and encourages us along the way.

And each one of them make me look good.

Yup, I’m a lucky dad.

Once or twice a week I get to spend the whole day with my boys – just me and my boys.

At times these days have been full on stress, as I’ve tried to get other things done while watching them – I’ve learned however to just put my task list aside, focus on them a things will go a lot smoother for everyone’s concerned.

So what does an average day with daddy look like?

Well let’s see if I can type this out before afternoon naptime comes to an end.
