Tile Layin Fool
This past weekend we finished up the tile work at the Treadaway’s house. A couple of months back we tiled the den and kitchen, and this weekend we finished up the dinning room and hallway. So we ripped up the carpet, layed the tile and now we just have to go back and finish up the shoe molding around the edges. The kitchen also needs shoe molding but the stain was a little too light to work so we have to redo that. I think we are all pretty sore today, I am for sure. Jonathan mentioned it on his blog, but if there’s anyone in the Waxahachie area with a hot tub that’s not in use, Jonathan, Josh and I would sure appreciate it!
Peanut Butter Jelly Time!
This is hilarious….not sure why but it cracks me up! Make sure your speakers are turned up to get the full effect.
Chopped
Well I went yesterday and cut my hair, not just one hair, but all of my hairs…it’s not too short, but it is definiteley shorter than it was…kind of layered with long bang type things in front (like the discription). Anyway I was ready for a change so I went and chopped it.
Fired!!
As many of you may know…I’m a avid Grey’s Anatomy fan…well, I just heard that Isaiah Washington, “Dr. Burke” was fired and will not return to the show next season. Most of us saw it coming after numerous events had happened over the last 6 months or so. After the season finale there were a couple of characters that could have been taken off the show and I guess that was one of them. So there you have it, your grey’s anatomy news for the day!
retraction
okay on my previous post “sleepy” let me clarify something. I didn’t stay awake the majority of the night because Jonathan was snoring…that woke me up one time. I simply just couldn’t sleep. He doesn’t keep me up the whole night, every night. Last night I didn’t even hear him at all.
Sno Cones
Or should I say Shaven Ice. That’s how the sign reads anyway. When I was growing up one of my best friends, Kristen, lived in Ennis and we would go to the sno cone stand all the time! I always got a white coconut sno cone….DELICIOUS. 15 years or so later, I moved to Waxahachie and guess what? There’s sno cone stand, Yeah! Well, a “shaven ice” stand, my how times have changed…or atleast become politically correct–as if a sno cone needs to be politically correct. Well anyway, I found out about this wonderful sno cone stand and I’ve been to it like 4 times in the last 2 weeks. And I not only can I get a white coconut sno cone, they have cream to add to it! Another walk down memory lane…so do I like the sno cone stand because it reminds me of the good ‘ole days or because they are just so irresistibly yummy?

Comfy Shoes
I used to crack up at people who were wearing these shoes. They are like garden shoes and people would wear them out on the town. I saw some lady wearing them at North Park mall with a nice outfit on. I have kids come in the clinic all the time wearing them…on kids they are actually pretty cute. Anyway, I was at the wonderful world of Target yesterday trying to escape from the downpour outside and came across the shoes (what are they called anyway?) for $9. Who can beat that price…so I tried them on and WOW they are comfy! I got them and I’m wearing them to work today…I’ve crossed the dark side. But I bet my feet won’t hurt at the end of the day. If you haven’t tried these glorious shoes, clogs, sandals, whatever they are…you should!
