Sunday evening

a. Left my laptop at the Civic Center – DOH. Will have to wait till 8 a.m. Monday to get it
b. Saw Aaron, Keri, Wilson and Solomon and found out Solomon likes my thumb
c. Enjoyed lunch at Panera Bread
d. Laurie bought some new Crocks
e. I bought some new shorts
f. We enjoyed Blizzards from Dairy Queen
g. Drove around a new neighborhood and found a frisbee golf course
h. Promised we’d return to the frisbee golf course
i. Returned home and regretted turning up the AC before we left for Cedar Hill
j. May need to bring a fan downstairs
k. Wondering what the rest of the evening may hold
l. Don’t tell Laurie but a snow cone sounds really good about now – either that or a tall pitcher of ICE COLD water

  1. what is frizbee golf???

Is this another sport you’ve taken from the pure and graceful (and way to middle class for a socialist like me) and mutated it into something different… wrong…

Just like American Football… you’ll be claiming frizbee golf is better than the real thing next.

Only joking… my friend… seriously, what is frizbee golf? How does it work?

  3. yessss… frisbee golf.
It’s a great game that can be played pretty much anywhere.
We played it almost weekly in college on a course we made up on our own.
The basics of the game is simple. You have a starting point (tee-box) you pick your target and the goal is to hit the target with your frisbee in as few throws as possible.
On campus are targets were silly things like trash cans, tree limbs, air conditioners etc. And each of the 18 holes had a pre-determined par like golf.
At a municipal park with a course they’re usually a little more elaborate with actual targets and pre-determined pars.
You can be simple and use the same frisbee the entire course or you can go out and buy 20 different frisbees for each situation.
