The novel, St. Peter’s Brewery, takes place in a small Central Texas town, just north of Austin.
Here’s a brief description:
As a twenty-something living in Austin, Texas, Jimmy Gaines had it made.
A great job in the tech industry, a great girlfriend, great friends and a great life.
Or so he thought.
When it all came spiraling down, Jimmy quickly realized that the life he had built for himself wasn’t as great as
he’d originally believed.
Jimmy decides to run from his problems and finds sanctuary within the walls of a small pub in central Texas.
It’s there that he’s ultimately forced to face the demons of his past and come to grip with true grace and forgiveness.
Discover Jimmy’s slow road to fulfillment with the help of a few friends who have set out to share life together through the community they’ve built around the local pub…

Read an interview with me about the book
The novel is self-published (aka Something Beautiful Press), so there’s no giant marketing arm of some publisher out their setting up interviews, mailing out posters and the like to promote the book.
Simply put, for this book to succeed, I’ll need lots of word of mouth help get the word out.
So a few simple things I’d like to ask of each of you.
- Visit the website (stpetersbrewery.info) and purchase a copy of the book – you can do so from the order page.
- Share this e-mail with your friends and family members who you think might be interested.
- Recommend the book and website with your friends and family members via Facebook, Twitter, Myspace or any other social networks you have.
- Once you’ve read the book, write a quick review of the book and post it on your blog, Facebook or other sites (if you do write a review drop me an e-mail with a link to the site – I’d love to see what you think).

And don’t worry, if you decide not to do any of the above, I won’t come track you down or unfriend you. We’ll still be friends and you can still come over from coffee whenever you’re in town.
If you’d like to stay up to date on the book and other news, I invite you to follow @stpetersbrew on Twitter, become a fan on Facebook, or subscribe to the website’s RSS feed in your favorite reader or by e-mail.
