Affordable Care Act question
So if the GOP gets their way and mandate portion of the Affordable Care Act is delayed, the people who do sign up will all be sick – the people who delay will likely be the healthy ones.
What happens when only sick people sign up for insurance?
Everything I’ve heard points to the dreaded death spiral for the insurance company – and likely the ultimate collapse of the system.
So it makes a lot of sense for the GOP to want to delay the mandate.
Am I missing something? Is anyone talking about this?
Five things that scare me as a daddy
1. Hearing one of my kids scream suddenly in the other room
2. Not seeing one of my kids in a crowded area
3. Watching them fall and being too far away to catch them
4. Watching them run towards the street or through a parking lot and not being able to stop them
And maybe most of all…
5. Trying to trim their toe nails or finger nails
My train conductor…
Mr Train Conductor is ready to get the trains moving. I understand there’s a police officer around here as well but he’s not too interested in having his photo taken.
Relaxation
Maybe it’s the overall sleep deprivation or the fact that she can sense when I’m tense… Whatever it is, there are very few things in this world that are as relaxing as holding my baby girls while she sleeps.
