“My child would not have learned this empathetic response if I had remained a yeller. Because yelling shuts down the communication; it severs the bond; it causes people to separate — instead of come closer.”
One of the many highlights of my day
Today was a day of ups and downs. The boys woke up early and chipper but quickly turned south before naptime.
After naps we took them to St. Arbucks for a cookie and then to the park to get them outdoors for the first time this week.
After the park I chilled with IDiddy on the couch and we shared several oranges while watching the Muppet Movie.
But I think I have to say the highlight of my day was getting up at 3:30 am with Little Miss and she drank all 5 ozs of her bottle – first time this week

Hallelujah!
Well Little Miss woke me up at 3:30 this morning… but then she finished her entire bottle before dozing back off to sleep!
I believe that’s the first one she’s finished since Sunday or Monday this week.
Hallelujah there is a light at the end of this sick, cruddy tunnel!

A #firstworldproblems wish
I love my home office setup. I only wish on days like today my desk was on wheels so I could take it to other parts of the house easily to keep an eye on the boys. #firstworldproblems

Homemade donut holes
When you run out of donut holes and you have left over bread from pigs in a blanket… You make your own donut holes.
Mental note: save money at the donut shop and just make donut holes at home with croissants, Nutella and sprinkles.
