We didn’t make it out to the Brick Builder fun this weekend – but enjoyed spending the afternoon building a tower with HDiddy and LEGO mini-figs with Little Miss instead.

Yesterday we visited Hidden Acres to take our annual family photos with Don Johnson.
As part of the adventure we got a couple nice kid-isms …
When we pulled into the main entrance of Hidden Acres and started driving down the main drive …
Little Miss: Daddy, I like it in here.
Me: You do? How come?
Little Miss: It’s nice and pretty with all the trees.

When we stopped for a restroom break near an apparent sewer overflow …
IDiddy: Ewe. What’s that smell?
Me: I’m not sure.
HDiddy: It smells like eggs! And I like eggs!

Early morning fun
Early morning fun in the rain and sand.
Little Miss-isms
A large storm and power outage woke Little Miss this morning.
I held her and rocked her for 20 minutes or so until the power came back on. Once it was restored I laid her back in bed and in her sweet two year old voice, “Daddy stay here with me. Stay till there’s no more thunder.”
I may not be able to stay quite that long … But who can refuse that?
The troops are assembled
IDiddy’s been hard at play this afternoon and now he’s assembled the troops for their next adventure.
