Over the weekend, we got word from JustOne that they’re changing the name of the Laundry Love Project initiative.
From JustOne:
The reasons are simple….
- People are NOT projects.
- LLP is about ‘people’, those serving and being served.
- This change speaks of the reciprocation that LLP provides.
- LLP as collaboration among people, not based on project/program.
I love and agree with the reasons and we’ve gladly changed the name of our group to reflect the nationwide changes.
And speaking of… our next LLP is this Saturday, July 25th. Come join us! We’d love to have some folks bring a case of cold water or sodas, or maybe some cookies for everyone who comes out. Just let me know if you’re interested in joining us.
