Dogs that moo

James Dobson and Focus on the Family are comparing homosexuality to dogs that moo.
I’m not sure if this is a clever ad campaign against domestic partners in Colorado or Focus has taking a long run off a short pier.
I wonder how many people are buying it?

  1. Focus couldn’t come up with something more substantial? This is the craziest thing they’ve pulled in a long time.

I had a dog that purred.

  2. It’s cute, but the “argument from animal behavior” argument against homosexuality is one of the most theologically unsound arguments that Focus could have made, as it implicitly buys into the secular notion that human beings are just animals.

Never mind the fact that if we followed what dogs did we all would be sniffing each others rear ends and ten percent of us would be humping strangers’ legs.
