What are the top searches coming to your website or blog? Do you know?

How strong is your password

I know a lot of you probably have one or two passwords you use for everything. And you’re probably thinking, no one will ever crack my password. But what if they tried. Have you really set yourself up for security or failure.
Microsoft now offers a password checker to determine the strength of your password.
Simply type your passwords in and it will give you a rating.
Mine are all medium strength.
What about yours?

New blog tease

I’ve just finished setting up and importing Laurie’s new WordPress blog. I’m not even sure she knows it yet.
She picked a fun template that utilizes Widgets. Made setting up a little different. I’m still a fan of coding things out when I can but my first go around with widgets in WordPress was a good experience.
She also picked a fun template that was written all in German. I thought maybe it was just one or two words but nope – all the links like, “Post a Comment” and so forth were all written in German.
So I had to go into each page and change all the links to English. Hopefully I got them all, but if not, let me know.
So in case you can’t guess or remember what her new blog address is, visit: www.casadeblundell.com/laurie. I wouldn’t count her old blog out just yet but you never know.
Feel free to drop her a line in either location.

It is released under a Creative Commons Attrib-NonCommercial license which allows users to freely modify and distribute the album, as long as they do not use it in a commercial endeavor.

Just how passionate are you?

firefox-wordmark-horizontal.png
It shouldn’t be a secret that I am a huge fan of Firefox.
In my opinion Firefox has to be the best Internet browser out there.
But not only is it a great browser, it has a great community behind it.
Open up your copy of Google Earth and type in these coordinates: 45° 7’25.87″N 123° 6’48.97″W
Look familiar? It’s a Firefox “crop circle.” (I’ll let you link to a picture of the screen shot if you don’t have Google Earth so I don’t ruin it for you.)
My first thought was, “Somebody at Google must have sneaked in and Photoshop’d an image in Google Earth.”
Nope. It’s legit. There is/was an actual crop circle made of the Firefox logo in the middle of Oregon.
Now my question is – if people can get this passionate about an Internet browser, why are they not this passionate about church or Christianity? Or are they? What are some tangible ways you’ve seen people passionate like this? Or what’s keeping you from being this passionate?
