  2. The business story was for a report on downtown parking issues.
    I think I wrote it my first week here. Apparently one business was making a big fuss because county employees and other people kept parking, on the public street, in front of her store. She bought a sign from the city that said parking for her business only, but because it’s a public street, towing or anything else was not enforced.
    The second one was for a story I did on a lady protesting at the local KFC, because she said she found roaches in her chicken sandwich. It was a stretch for the category, but I had to request info from the city on health inspection reports.
