Huckabee on evolution

Mike Huckabee on Evolution and the GOP Debate 6/5/2007

Gov. Huckabee gives a clear answer to his belief in creation during a CNN debate.
He admits he doesn’t know whether it was a literal six days or a longer period of time but he does believe, “In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.”
A great answer from a Presidential candidate.
I’m really hoping he and Obama can move to the front of their parties and win their nominations.

  1. I don’t know about Obama and Huckabee, but I would like to see some other front-runners from my party. It disheartens me that there is a person who touts himself as a ‘security’ candidate when all he did was get attacked, a ‘straight-talker’ who caved when it became politically expedient, and a person whose positions have seen a sea-change since they were a governor. Add in the multiple marriages/divorces/children that don’t speak to their parents, and the apparent low priority that their faith has for them, and I am displeased by the frontrunners (this last critique doesn’t apply to Romney though, which I find to be in his favor.

While I disagree with some of his more libertarian positions, I find Ron Paul’s candor and dedication to his principles refreshing. I also like that he is unafraid to speak truth to power, and actually say what should be said in a debate.

tha’t’s if for now… more later. probably.
