{"id":885,"date":"2006-04-10T09:57:00","date_gmt":"2006-04-10T15:57:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.casadeblundell.com\/jonathan\/?p=885"},"modified":"2006-04-10T09:57:00","modified_gmt":"2006-04-10T15:57:00","slug":"west-wing-election-night-part-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/casadeblundell.com\/jonathan\/west-wing-election-night-part-2\/","title":{"rendered":"West Wing &#8211; Election Night Part 2"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/photos1.blogger.com\/blogger\/5524\/1070\/1600\/1WESag00leo_sm.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;\" src=\"http:\/\/photos1.blogger.com\/blogger\/5524\/1070\/320\/1WESag00leo_sm.jpg\" border=\"0\" alt=\"\" \/><\/a>Last night reminded me again that I really miss Leo&#8217;s character and I&#8217;m really going to miss the West Wing when the season ends.<br \/>\nIt was somewhat predictable that Santos would win the election, but I loved all the &#8220;false finishes&#8221; during election night.<br \/>\nI loved the speach Santos gave to encourage voters after Leo (John Spencer) died. &#8220;This is bigger than Leo and anyone else &#8211; this is about a vision for our nation.&#8221;<br \/>\nI loved the heartfelt interaction between Josh and Donna, Josh and Santos and CJ and the President as each of them learned of Leo&#8217;s death.<br \/>\nIt was if they were just finding out for the first time that John Spencer had died.<br \/>\nI hope there are some Emmy&#8217;s lined up for the cast and crew on this one.<br \/>\nI really wish the show could continue with a Santos presidency, but I guess all good things have to come to an end.
