{"id":826,"date":"2006-03-25T12:38:00","date_gmt":"2006-03-25T18:38:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.casadeblundell.com\/jonathan\/?p=826"},"modified":"2006-03-25T12:38:00","modified_gmt":"2006-03-25T18:38:00","slug":"take-action","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/casadeblundell.com\/jonathan\/take-action\/","title":{"rendered":"Take action"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/secure2.convio.net\/wv\/site\/Advocacy?page=UserAction&#038;cmd=display&#038;id=128&#038;lid=Uganda_action&#038;lpos=main\">World Vision<\/A> has set up a form letter to send to your U.S. Senators and Congressman on the war and child <a href=\"http:\/\/www.invisiblechildren.com\">abductions<\/a> in Uganda.<br \/>\nI&#8217;m not normally a fan of form letters, I&#8217;ve been told by most congressmen I&#8217;ve met, that they don&#8217;t read them, but it never hurts to take a minute or so to remind them that you&#8217;re concerned about a topic.<br \/>\nSo take some time and educate yourself on the issue, then take a minute, fill out the form, change the letter if you&#8217;d like (at least change the subject line) and let Washington know you&#8217;re concerned.<br \/>\nThen take the next stop and make a phone call.
