{"id":6649,"date":"2010-10-13T07:00:08","date_gmt":"2010-10-13T12:00:08","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.casadeblundell.com\/jonathan\/?p=6649"},"modified":"2011-08-30T13:33:56","modified_gmt":"2011-08-30T19:33:56","slug":"g1-vs-iphone-3g-comparing-video","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/casadeblundell.com\/jonathan\/g1-vs-iphone-3g-comparing-video\/","title":{"rendered":"G1 vs iPhone 3G: Comparing video"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>As I continue using my &#8220;new&#8221; iPhone, I thought it would be interesting to compare the video quality of my mobile phones&#8230; the G1 I used up until a week or so ago and the iPhone 3G I&#8217;ve been using since.<\/p>\n<p>Granted, these aren&#8217;t the phones you&#8217;ll be buying in the stores anymore but if you&#8217;re looking for a re-furbished\/used phone on ebay or elsewhere, this might help you make your decision. Last check showed an unlocked G1 for $75 on ebay or an 8GB iPhone 3G for $160.<\/p>\n<p>These videos were recorded on the phones (I had to download a camcorder app for the iPhone) and uploaded straight to the web.<\/p>\n<p>The video quality is comparable but the iPhone has the weird screen ratio.
