Your generosity will surprise him with goodness. Don&#8217;t let evil get the best of you; get the best of evil by doing good. &#8211;  Romans 12:20-21<\/em><\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve been chewing on this idea of Obama winning the Nobel Prize for Peace since it was announced. It&#8217;s been interesting to read all the varied comments.<\/p>\n<p>Especially when many conservatives were up in arms that he won it and then turned around and applauded his speech and his justification of war.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.jesusmanifesto.com\/2009\/12\/what-if-obama-the-nobel-and-the-lordship-of-jesus\/\">The Jesus Manifesto<\/a> shares many of the thoughts that have been swirling around my head and I&#8217;ve yet to be able to put to paper &#8211; or keyboard.<\/p>\n<p>So I encourage you to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.jesusmanifesto.com\/2009\/12\/what-if-obama-the-nobel-and-the-lordship-of-jesus\/\">read his post<\/a> and watch this video from Cornel West:<\/p>\n<div class=\"jetpack-video-wrapper\"><span class=\"embed-youtube\" style=\"text-align:center; display: block;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" class=\"youtube-player\" width=\"660\" height=\"372\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/QaM94mieeLg?version=3&#038;rel=1&#038;showsearch=0&#038;showinfo=1&#038;iv_load_policy=1&#038;fs=1&#038;hl=en-US&#038;autohide=2&#038;wmode=transparent\" allowfullscreen=\"true\" style=\"border:0;\" sandbox=\"allow-scripts allow-same-origin allow-popups allow-presentation allow-popups-to-escape-sandbox\"><\/iframe><\/span><\/div>\n<p>And consider this, did Jesus come to offer up a high-fetched dream that could never be lived up to?
