The Church of the Beloved<\/a> is offering a new album available for free download. I’m really digging it this morning. A great sound and great lyrics.<\/p>\n

\nThe book of Job is the oldest book of Scripture and it asks one of the oldest questions, \u00e2\u20ac\u02dcIs there hope?\u00e2\u20ac\u2122<\/p>\n

\u00e2\u20ac\u02dcIs there hope for a tree cut down? \u00e2\u20ac\u00a6Yes. At the mere scent of water it will bud and grow green shoots.\u00e2\u20ac\u2122<\/em><\/p>\n

That is what we are discovering together at Church of the Beloved – a hope. Hope that something new is beginning that has very old roots. Hope that God is growing life out of our devastation, trust out of our cynicism, love out of our fear, community out of our isolation\u00e2\u20ac\u00a6. And that\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s what this album is about – fumbling into God\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s grace. It is a seismic and humble shift when our heart can hear the words that God has been saying to us for all our lives, \u00e2\u20ac\u02dc\u00e2\u20ac\u00a6nothing can separate you from the Love of God which is in Christ Jesus\u00e2\u20ac\u2122. These songs say \u00e2\u20ac\u02dcYes\u00e2\u20ac\u2122 to God\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s claim upon your life that, \u00e2\u20ac\u02dcYou are my Beloved.\u00e2\u20ac\u2122\u00e2\u20ac\u009d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
