Daniel&#8217;s Den is a ministry in Waxahachie, with the goal of reaching and helping the homeless of Ellis County.<\/p>\n<p><strong>There are a number of ways folks can help:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>the back porch screen needs to be repaired<\/li>\n<li>lots of caulking needs to be done<\/li>\n<li>furniture needs to be moved<\/li>\n<li>edging and mulching the front yard (mulch is free but trucks are needed)<\/li>\n<li>flowers planted in the front<\/li>\n<li>new lid (and or box) for trash box to keep dogs out of trash cans<\/li>\n<li>fence needs to be built in the rear of the property<\/li>\n<li>banana boxes needed to help organize garage sale items<\/li>\n<li>garage sale items need to be organized<\/li>\n<li>door needs to be painted and installed<\/li>\n<li>items need to be moved from the old shelter location to the new one<\/li>\n<li>shelves need to be installed in pantry<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>items needed:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>8&#8242; ladder<\/li>\n<li>twin bed and mattress sets<\/li>\n<li>2 full size mattresses (mattress only)<\/li>\n<li>flowers<\/li>\n<li>fencing<\/li>\n<li>caulk and caulking guns<\/li>\n<li>shelves<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In addition to the regular work that day, if you&#8217;re interested in helping put together food and drink for those working that day, please let us know as well.<\/p>\n<p>If you see something you&#8217;re interested in and would like to help, please let me know.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>July 12th folks from encounter &#8211; as well as anyone else interested will spend a day working in and around Daniel&#8217;s Den in Waxahachie.
