{"id":3763,"date":"2008-05-28T22:53:07","date_gmt":"2008-05-29T04:53:07","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.casadeblundell.com\/jonathan\/?p=3763"},"modified":"2009-08-26T14:38:54","modified_gmt":"2009-08-26T19:38:54","slug":"whats-behind-these-community-groups","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/casadeblundell.com\/jonathan\/whats-behind-these-community-groups\/","title":{"rendered":"What&#8217;s behind these community groups?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I&#8217;ve asked everyone in our community groups at encounter to take a couple minutes and either fill out an online survey or a printed version of the survey regarding their experiences in their encounter community group.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve received some of the community group surveys back already &#8211; (they were sent out roughly a week ago)<\/p>\n<p>A few interesting things so far&#8230; (from the current respondents).<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>87% are married<\/li>\n<li>75% have children<\/li>\n<li>75% learned about their group from a Sunday morning announcement<\/li>\n<li>87% attend their group regularly (3-4 times a month)<\/li>\n<li>100% attend encounter &#8211; 100% attend frequently<\/li>\n<li>75% have attended encounter for more than a year<\/li>\n<li>87% have been a Christ follower for at least 3 years<\/li>\n<li>62% rarely or never attended church growing up<\/li>\n<li>100% are involved in other encounter ministries<\/li>\n<li>100% would recommend their group<\/li>\n<li>67% have invited at least 1 person to their group<\/li>\n<li>100% would rank the quality of their group 3 or higher on a 1-5 scale<\/li>\n<li>50% would rank the quality of their group a 5<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>I have a feeling these results have come primarily from one or two groups, so it will be interesting to see how the rest of the results turn out and if there&#8217;s much variation.
