{"id":3407,"date":"2008-01-30T14:12:56","date_gmt":"2008-01-30T20:12:56","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.casadeblundell.com\/jonathan\/?p=3407"},"modified":"2013-06-11T07:37:04","modified_gmt":"2013-06-11T13:37:04","slug":"dmn-reports-the-race-is-down-to-two","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/casadeblundell.com\/jonathan\/dmn-reports-the-race-is-down-to-two\/","title":{"rendered":"DMN reports the race is down to two"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Even after the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dallasnews.com\">DMN<\/a> <span class=\"removed_link\" title=\"http:\/\/www.dallasnews.com\/sharedcontent\/dws\/dn\/opinion\/editorials\/stories\/DN-gopprezrec_23edi.ART.State.Edition1.36c79ca.html\">gave their endorsement<\/span> to <strong>Mike Huckabee<\/strong> a month or so ago, and Metro Columnist <strong><span class=\"removed_link\" title=\"http:\/\/metro.beloblog.com\/archives\/2007\/11\/our_next_president.html\">Steve Blow<\/strong> predicted <strong>Mike Huckabee<\/strong> would win<\/span> the nomination, <span class=\"removed_link\" title=\"http:\/\/religion.beloblog.com\/archives\/2008\/01\/johnny_we_hardly_supported_ye.html\"><strong>Bruce Tomaso<\/strong><\/span> over at the DMN seems to think the race for the president is down to just two candidates on both sides of the aisle now.<\/p>\n<p>I guess the other states who haven&#8217;t voted yet don&#8217;t count or matter. Sucks for us.<\/p>\n<p>Seems like everyone has quickly forgotten how <strong>John McCain&#8217;s<\/strong> campaign was dead in the water after Iowa and how <strong>Mike Huckabee<\/strong> was the GOP longshot in the company of <strong>Ron Paul<\/strong> just two or three months ago.
