Last week I was working on new <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wordpress.org\">WordPress<\/a> themes for a possible <a href=\"http:\/\/www.encounterthis.com\">encounter<\/a> website redesign (you may have seen them on my Flickr stream).<br \/>\nWhile working on the Intranet site I&#8217;m using <a href=\"http:\/\/www.casadeblundell.com\">CasadeBlundell.com<\/a> for &#8220;filler text&#8221; and it got me thinking about redesigning that site as well. It&#8217;s gotten a little stagnant.<br \/>\nAll of this led me to think about a few goals\/challenges I&#8217;d like to figure out\/complete before to long (some of them are personal, others are work related).<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li> <strong>Finish a redesign of the encounter website<\/strong><\/li>\n<li> <strong>Redesign CasadeBlundell.com<\/strong><\/li>\n<li> <strong>Redesign our departmental Intranet site<\/strong><\/li>\n<li> <strong>Find out how to combine multiple RSS feeds into one<\/strong> &#8211; hopefully without using third party software. I&#8217;d love to be able to let people subscribe to one RSS feed and get the latest from my <a href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/statuses\/friends_timeline\/10656692.rss\">twitter feed<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/api.flickr.com\/services\/feeds\/photos_public.gne?id=67829752@N00&#038;lang=en-us&#038;format=rss_200\">Flickr feed<\/a> and of course my <a href=\"http:\/\/feeds.feedburner.com\/StrangerInAStrangeLand\">SSL feed<\/a>. I&#8217;d eventually love to have an option to combine all my RSS feeds with Laurie&#8217;s RSS feeds as well so people can truly stay up to date with what&#8217;s going on.<\/li>\n<li> <strong>Get a better grasp\/understanding of CSS<\/strong> &#8211; this is coming slowly as I build these other sites<\/li>\n<li> <strong>Learn PHP language<\/strong> &#8211; coming along even slower<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>I think those are the main ones for now &#8211; but who knows I may think of several more on the way home &#8211; you can check my Twitter feed for updates on the way home \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I&#8217;m working on a new Intranet site for work today.
