{"id":3252,"date":"2007-12-14T08:39:40","date_gmt":"2007-12-14T14:39:40","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.casadeblundell.com\/jonathan\/?p=3252"},"modified":"2013-06-11T07:36:36","modified_gmt":"2013-06-11T13:36:36","slug":"scoble-working-for-john-edwards","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/casadeblundell.com\/jonathan\/scoble-working-for-john-edwards\/","title":{"rendered":"Scoble working for John Edwards"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Former Microsoft evangelist <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/scobleizer.com\/2007\/12\/12\/its-your-business\/\">Robert Scoble<\/a><\/strong> is about to leave PodTech.<br \/>\nHe&#8217;s planning to announce his next position on Jan 15th.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span class=\"removed_link\" title=\"http:\/\/feeds.feedburner.com\/~r\/LeaveItBehind\/~3\/199973284\/scoble-is-movin.html\">Brian Bailey<\/strong> suggests<\/span> that Scoble may be looking at going to work for the <strong>John Edwards<\/strong> campaign &#8211; depending on the results of the Iowa caucus. Edwards has been locked in 3rd place most of the election season. But he could still pull out a surprise in Iowa, knocking off Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton.<\/p>\n<p>Interesting. Very interesting.<\/p>\n<p>Of course I still think <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ronpaul2008.com\/\">Ron Paul<\/a><\/strong> and <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.mikehuckabee.com\">Mike Huckabee<\/a><\/strong> have the best online presences of the campaign &#8211; although Ron Paul&#8217;s camp isn&#8217;t doing most of theirs &#8211; it&#8217;s his supporters. The same for Mike Huckabee, except his campaign actually shares, posts and links to user created content, where as Paul almost seems to ignore the user created content.<\/p>\n<p>Huckabee doesn&#8217;t seem like much of a dark horse anymore. Depending on the poll he&#8217;s clearly leading in Iowa and tied or leading the GOP race nationally. Paul on the other hand could still come out from behind and surprise everyone.<\/p>\n<p>Should be interesting to see what happens on both the GOP and Dem side.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Former Microsoft evangelist Robert Scoble is about to leave PodTech.
