{"id":3239,"date":"2007-12-11T15:21:55","date_gmt":"2007-12-11T21:21:55","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.casadeblundell.com\/jonathan\/?p=3239"},"modified":"2007-12-11T15:21:55","modified_gmt":"2007-12-11T21:21:55","slug":"dnc-denies-drudge-item-came-from-them","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/casadeblundell.com\/jonathan\/dnc-denies-drudge-item-came-from-them\/","title":{"rendered":"DNC denies Drudge item came from them"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Drudge plastered, &#8220;DEMS HOLD FIRE ON HUCKABEE; SEE &#8216;EASY KILL&#8217; IN GENERAL ELECTION&#8221; on the <a href=\"http:\/\/drudgereport.com\/\">top of his front page today<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Not that it matters in my opinion, whether they do or don&#8217;t, but according to the <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.mikehuckabee.com\">Mike Huckabee<\/a><\/strong> campaign, <strong>DNC Communications Director Karen Finney<\/strong> said:<\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;We always appreciate having our hard work noticed, and we know <strong>Mitt Romney<\/strong> likes to feel special, but the truth is we&#8217;ve been tracking Huckabee for over a year. The Romney campaign should take heart in the fact that the Drudge Report is buying their spin hook, line and sinker because nothing in that story came from us.&#8221; <\/em><\/p>\n<p>The Huckabee campaign added in an e-mail today: Romney&#8217;s camp keeps a close watch on who the Dems are hitting and have boasted in the past about how they are the most popular target. <\/p>\n<p>Personally, I don&#8217;t think it really matters who the Dems are attacking at this point &#8211; most of the GOP have done a fine job attacking each other on their own.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Drudge plastered, &#8220;DEMS HOLD FIRE ON HUCKABEE; SEE &#8216;EASY KILL&#8217; IN GENERAL ELECTION&#8221; on the top of his front page today.
