a. I can’t remember much about Friday night. I know we did something but I don’t remember what… ah yes. Subway in Waxahachie and the “wonderful smiling faces of the employees whom you can just tell by watching them love to be there” – yeah right. There’s just something about many of the folks who work at local fast food places that annoys the heck out of me. You can obviously tell they don’t want to be there and they don’t want you to be there either. I do believe there are 3 exceptions though – Chick-Fil-A in Waxahachie, What-A-Burger in Red Oak and Subway in Glenn Heights.
\nb. Slept in on Saturday
\nc. Laurie<\/strong> went shopping with her mom for goodies for the house
\nd. I was worried when I got the text message, “I’m spending all your hard earned money” knowing we had just ordered three more pallets of sod for our backyard<\/a>.
\ne. Luckily my life is a great shopper and purchased over $300 worth of stuff for around $50
\nf. I stayed home and watched UT loose to OU and listened to UMHB cream HSU
\ng. My sister Kara<\/strong> and her hubby Tim<\/strong> came for dinner
\nh. Our dogs enjoyed chasing each other around the living room over and over again
\ni. Some mysterious poo ended up on the kitchen tile while we were all playing a game at the kitchen table
\nj. Went to encounter Sunday morning – enjoyed Brian’s<\/strong> message about the masks we wear<\/a> and how they keep us from Godlikeness
\nk. Went to Mesquite and enjoyed Olive Garden for lunch with family for Laurie’s brother’s birthday
\nl. Had brownies for dessert at Laurie’s parents
\nm. Came home and got really mad at the dog<\/a> for not listening and constantly needing to run and jump and lick and claw
\nn. Feel like I took it out on Laurie not the dog
\no. Left for entry<\/span> and felt really bad for being short with Laurie – made sure to apologize via text messaging and when I came back home and will admit here publicly that I’m still sorry for taking anything out on her
\np. Enjoyed entry, came home, blogged and went to bed
\nq. Woke up this morning, still frustrated with the dog but feeling better about the week ahead
