{"id":2489,"date":"2007-06-05T11:54:30","date_gmt":"2007-06-05T17:54:30","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.casadeblundell.com\/jonathan\/?p=2489"},"modified":"2011-02-22T14:40:15","modified_gmt":"2011-02-22T20:40:15","slug":"prayer-request-8","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/casadeblundell.com\/jonathan\/prayer-request-8\/","title":{"rendered":"Prayer request for Carl Wessels"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Waxahachie Finance Director, and someone I&#8217;d consider a good friend, <strong>Carl Wessels<\/strong>, was in a car accident Sunday.<br \/>\nFrom the <a href=\"http:\/\/thedailylight.com\/articles\/2007\/06\/05\/dailylight\/news\/04-06-05-wessels.txt\">WDL<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Waxahachie director of finance Carl Wessels has been hospitalized after being injured in an automobile accident near Ruston, La., on Sunday, June 3.<br \/>\nDriving back from a fishing camp, the 2006 GMC Suburban in which Wessels was riding lost control on a wet road and rolled, reports indicate.<br \/>\nWessels was transported to a local hospital, where it was discovered he suffered two compression fractures in his back, specifically the T-2 and T-3 vertebrates. He was later moved to a Shreveport, La., hospital, where he may undergo surgery to repair the damage.<br \/>\nWessels\u00e2\u20ac\u2122 family reported that aside from his back injury, he is in good condition.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Waxahachie Finance Director, and someone I&#8217;d consider a good friend, Carl Wessels, was in a car accident Sunday.
