{"id":2147,"date":"2007-02-22T22:56:41","date_gmt":"2007-02-23T04:56:41","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.casadeblundell.com\/jonathan\/?p=2147"},"modified":"2012-05-15T16:39:25","modified_gmt":"2012-05-15T22:39:25","slug":"state-of-the-christian-blogosphere","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/casadeblundell.com\/jonathan\/state-of-the-christian-blogosphere\/","title":{"rendered":"State of the Christian blogosphere"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The results of the recent <span class=\"removed_link\" title=\"http:\/\/www.pastors.com\/article.asp?ArtID=10277\">Christian blogger survey<\/b> have been released.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.casadeblundell.com\/jonathan\/?p=2139#more-2139\">367 Christian bloggers<\/span> responded with the bulk of their ages in their 30&#8217;s. 136 of the respondents, or 37% were between 31 and 40 years old.<br \/>\nTwentysomethings made up 24% of the bloggers.<br \/>\nOne of the most impressive statistics in the survey was that 128 respondents were &#8220;senior pastors,&#8221; the largest group of the survey. Second was &#8220;associate pastor\/minister&#8221; with 77. &#8220;Layperson\/church member&#8221; with 67. Another 42 listed &#8220;church staff.&#8221;<br \/>\nI wonder if those results had anything to do with where the survey was advertised. The survey was sponsored by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.churchcommunicationspro.com\">Church Communications Pro<\/A> as well as <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pastors.com\">Rick Warren&#8217;s Ministry Toolbox<\/A>.
