Barack Obama looks like he may throw some competition in the ring against NY Sen. Hillary Clinton in the 2008 presidential election.<br \/>\nFrom the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.theaustralian.news.com.au\/story\/0,20867,20634239-2703,00.html\">AP<\/A>:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Illinois senator Barack Obama, one of the Democrats&#8217; rising stars, said yesterday he was considering a 2008 presidential run, a move that would present Hillary Clinton with a formidable rival for the party&#8217;s nomination.<br \/>\nFor months, the first-term senator had ruled out running for the White House, even while giving all appearances of interest in the race.<br \/>\nBut he said yesterday he had reconsidered &#8220;given the responses that I have been getting over the last several months&#8221;.<br \/>\nAsked on NBC television&#8217;s Meet the Press program if it was fair to say he is thinking about running in 2008, he answered: &#8220;It&#8217;s fair, yes.&#8221; <\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>I&#8217;d love to see Obama and <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/J.C._Watts\">J.C.
