Maybe it’s her face, no makeup at all
\nAs she tells me she’s not beautiful
\nMaybe it’s her hair, soft golden and wind blown
\nAs we drive through the streets of town
\nIt could be all these things
\nBut I think it’s her smile
\nMaybe it’s her laugh when she throws back and sighs
\nOr her eyebrows when I do something stupid
\nMaybe it’s her smell, the lotion she wears
\nOr how my hands smell like country pear for days
\nYou know it could be all these things
\nBut I think mostly it is her smile
\nCause I love to see her smile back at me
\nAnd I know she is happy
