I love so many of the hymns of the faith. I’m listening to “I Stand Amazed (How Marvelous)” and just love the depth of the lyrics and it’s message.
\nHad to share:<\/p>\n

I stand amazed in the presence
\nOf Jesus the Nazarene,
\nAnd wonder how He could love me,
\nA sinner, condemned, unclean.<\/p>\n

O how marvelous! O how wonderful!
\nAnd my song shall ever be:
\nO how marvelous! O how wonderful!
\nIs my Savior\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s love for me!<\/p>\n

For me it was in the garden
\nHe prayed: \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Not My will, but Thine.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d
\nHe had no tears for His own griefs,
\nBut sweat drops of blood for mine.<\/p>\n

In pity angels beheld Him,
\nAnd came from the world of light
\nTo comfort Him in the sorrows
\nHe bore for my soul that night.<\/p>\n

He took my sins and my sorrows,
\nHe made them His very own;
\nHe bore the burden to Calvary,
\nAnd suffered and died alone.<\/p>\n

When with the ransomed in glory
\nHis face I at last shall see,
\n\u00e2\u20ac\u2122Twill be my joy through the ages
\nTo sing of His love for me.<\/p>\n
