{"id":367,"date":"2014-04-20T23:01:33","date_gmt":"2014-04-21T04:01:33","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/casadeblundell.com\/fred\/?p=367"},"modified":"2014-04-20T23:28:38","modified_gmt":"2014-04-21T04:28:38","slug":"the-best-news-is-bad-news-and-good-news-in-thirteen-words","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/casadeblundell.com\/fred\/the-best-news-is-bad-news-and-good-news-in-thirteen-words\/","title":{"rendered":"THE BEST NEWS Is Bad News and Good News In Thirteen Words"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>20140420<\/p>\n<p>                      Bad News:  All have sinned.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<p>               PLUS    Good News:  Jesus died for our sins and rose from the grave.\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\nEQUALS    A New Life to all who believe and act upon it.\n<\/ul>\n<p>1 Corinthians 15:3-6<br \/>\n&#8220;3 For I passed on to you first of all what I also had received,<br \/>\nthat Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One)<br \/>\ndied for our sins in accordance with [what] the Scriptures [foretold],<br \/>\n4 That He was buried, that He arose on the third day as the Scriptures foretold&#8230;&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Larry Moyer spoke in our church last Sunday.<br \/>\nHe summarized the Good NEWS in I Corinthians 15:3-4 as above.<br \/>\nOne must, however, know the bad news before he will act on the good news.<br \/>\nThis morning at the Easter sunrise service,<br \/>\nour assistant pastor read and summarized all of ! Corinthians 15<br \/>\nand explained the importance of the resurrection of Jesus Christ to Christians.<br \/>\nOur life in this world and in the eternal heaven depends on Jesus,<br \/>\nwho made those thirteen words true.    <\/p>\n<p>I heard and read that passage many times in the last week.<br \/>\nI know of no better news for a world of sinners lost in bad news.<br \/>\nThere is nothing more valuable<br \/>\nto me or anyone else than believing and sharing<\/p>\n<p>All have sinned.<br \/>\nJesus died for our sins and rose from the grave.<\/p>\n<p>He is risen!  He is risen indeed!  <\/p>\n<p>He is risen in deed, in body, and in Spirit<br \/>\nand He lives in me through the Holy Spirit.<br \/>\nHallelujah!  Hallelujah!
